We just got back from a road trip to Chicago!
Highlights: Visiting Fermilab / hadron collider, seeing an old highschool friend, the Art Institute, staying at a monastery b&b, eating lots of grilled shrimp, pizza, stopping by (briefly) the Michigan central station in Detriot, seeing the few relics left behind from the 1893 Columbian Exhibition, The Hotel Intercontinental / Old Medinah Atheletic Club (pool is amazing! Like stepping into the Grand Budpest Hotel).
