After a month of working straight through most of every day until nine at night, I took three days off this weekend when my friend Kim came to visit me. We hadn't seen each other since graduation two years ago, after which she moved down to Atlanta. It was really really great to catch up, go out to eat, talk crafty, and walk around. We went up to the north shore on Saturday, and to the crane estate, and then ate some tasty tuna burgers at a restaurant near by. It's really hard when your close friends don't live near you anymore, but at the same time it makes their visits more special. I think it was good for me to take this time off and relax, because now I feel more focused and ready for the next few days as I wrap all the loose ends before heading down to New York. I think I finally have enough stuff and can't wait to share some of it with you.
