I went back home to Connecticut for most of this past week; one of my friends whom I 've known since age two was getting married. I had a really fun time and the wedding was right on the beach, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect. I also had some time to spend around the house going through old things (which I always enjoy doing), hanging out with my bird, and picking a lot of tomatoes from the garden. For some reason all the plants in the garden this year have grown extremely big, and the tomatillos are more than seven feet tall! Made me feel kind of small, even though I always feel small, being a whopping 5'2", as I'm frequently reminded.
