simple raglan sweater

My first top-down in the round raglan sweater, from the book Knitting Pretty by Kris Percival. I'm using Rowan's little big wool that I got a year ago at Webs in Northampton. I'm really excited with how it's coming along so far, and I did all the above just in one day. Maybe this will be done by the end of the week. I feel like lately I can't get enough sweaters, so bring on the sweaters I say!

It looks wonderful so far! Is it difficult to learn how to join the sleeves to the body? I've managed some hats and a belt that involved decreasing and increasing stitches, but sweaters, mittens, and gloves scare the heck out of me!

Anne - Thank you!!

Jennifer - You know, I'm wondering about that too! I've never done it before, and that was the part that was worrying me too out of everything! Actually this pattern is super simple and just requires a bit of counting and such in the beginning, but after that, it's seemed a breeze!
