Hello! We just got back from our trip and apparently the only pictures I took were at the Cloisters. Go figure, I'm a sucker for this stuff. Have you been to this Museum? I really love it. The gardens are quite nice, even in December lots of plants were growing.

While we were there we got to see the Lewis Chessmen, a group of Chess figurines on loan from the British Museum. I'm kind of obsessed with them now, wish I had bought the T-Shirt. The image above is from the Met website, but if you google them you can see all the other ones. The carvings on them are amazing! And their little faces have so much character too.

I got this awesome hat from Annie at the sale! It's so warm! The whole hat is pretty awesome, but the pom-pom is particularly awesome.

I bought some tea with Erica at Dean and Delucas. (Does this count as taking a picture of my food, haha?!) It tastes really good. I'm going to go have a cup right now.

Thanks so much for everyone who came to the sale, it was so fun! Ellen, Ilana, and Alexandra did such a great job making it come together and I was so happy to be a part of it! There will be a big shop update tonight or tomorrow, so stay tuned!

I wish I could have attended the sale! Sounds like it was really great - and your trip too. I bought a hat from Annie last year and I've been wearing it non stop these past few weeks :)

Ah! I'm utterly obsessed with Lewis Chessmen! I went to Lewis last year and they have giant wooden ones dotted around the island, so cool! I've also seen the very same ones you did in the British museum! Seriously, if you ever come to the UK we definitely have to geek out on this sort of stuff together! I live less than an hour away from Stone Henge, we could totally just go and hang out there for the day.. :)
