Untitled Untitled Untitled A custom tote I just finished last week for Caitlin. It's the littlest bag I've made and I like how it turned out. A hide hole was incorporated as a hand stitched finishing detail. At first I was nervous to make the hole into part of the bag, as I usually avoid holes and scars when cutting, so it was a neat experience to do the opposite. I think the color and texture of the leather makes it look like a small moon or planet.

i love this. scars can be so frustrating to deal with. it's great to see a project that embraces them and shows off this part of the character of leather.
