class

Untitled Untitled I've been taking a ceramics class the past two months at a studio near by. These are first things that I'm not embarrassed to show - my first pieces looked like a kid made them, no joke. It's a lot more challenging than I thought it would be and it takes a lot of upper body strength, which I don't didn't have at all. But now I have clay muscles and it's much more fun than going to the gym! I'm still getting the hang of trimming, some of the wheels pick up speed very quickly and then I gouge what I'm working on and mess it all up. Practice makes perfect, that's for sure!

Thanks Janney! :)

Chau - I feel like I got a hang of centering, and then I lost it! Then I find it again, and then the next week it's gone! Haha...

Jennifer - thanks! the first things I made seriously looked like a kindergardener made them!!
