what? awesome!

leather flats // cos

Rarely these days am I "blown away" by a retail experience: but, holy moley I ordered these tuesday shipping & a 25% off coupon (available to all usa customers by signing up for the mailing list, fyi) and they came yesterday morning (less than 24 hrs!)....*and* they surpass all expectations. They are comfy, have a sturdy rubber sole which is great for all the rain we get here, and the upper leather is so soft. I was skeptical with COS being part of H & M, but the quality is a million times better & I was so happy to see they are made in Portugal, which is known for quality leather working. So, in short, these seem to good too be true.

whatch out - COS can become an addiction... their garnments are even better manufactured than their shoes:)

speaking from experience - it has been around for a few years now here in germany...

I've been hoping to get these for some time, so glad they're shipping to the U.S. now. How is the sizing?

they do really look great! i'm tempted but worry about width -- do you think they run narrow at all, julia?

wsake - i know i'm worried about that! i was so happy when i first heard they were coming to america. i excited to try out some clothes to at some point soon - trying to hold back for now but this one pair of baggy shorts looks pretty good!

dm - i think these shoes might run a half size big, which was good in my case because i'm usually a 7.5 and got the 7 and they fit good. the 7 also is marked 38 which is what i take in some other brands.

erica - they are so comfy, tempting to get another pair...eek!

joyce - i think they run average and not too narrow - the ball of the sole measures 3.5" across for the size 7 / 38 and about 10.25" long. The leather upper corresponding to the ball of the foot measurement is unlined and will stretch a lot i think over time. they fit feels similar to the blue chinos :)
