blueberry tart

blueberry brown butter tart 

teamwork by jesse, ben, and me!

& mostly eaten now.

loosely based on this one - yum!  just substitute blueberries.   we used a different crust recipe as i had just made pot pies and made a ridiculous amount of crust so i had a lot left over.


2 sticks of butter, cold chopped
2.5 C Flour
1 tsp salt
6-8 TBLSPN ice cold water, as needed.

1/2 cup sugar
2 large eggs
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, diced
2 6-ounce containers fresh raspberries

the butter needs to be melted, cooked, and browned on the stove for a bit to get it just right, then mixed with the eggs, then poured over the berries.
