This little collection has been a long time coming! We have been dreaming about getting more custom Stephanie dresses in the shop since our last special order a while ago. Though doing this during Covid may seem like odd timing, we decided we needed to add something special and bring a bit of joy, and what's more joyful than the perfect shirt dress?! This is a dress that I can picture living everywhere. On a small farm in the countryside, using the voluminous skirt to collect eggs. On the city streets with a cool pair of sneakers and sunglasses. At a seaside town with a pair of handmade sandals, getting a drink at the bar. Curled up on a hammock reading your favorite novel. Cooking a big feast to eat on the outside patio with all your friends. As you can see, I do quite a bit of daydreaming and have always loved dreaming up stories for clothes and the lives they will live after they leave our doors. It is truly one of my favorite dresses that I can picture wearing for the rest of my life. While Casey Casey dresses are a big investment, they are worth it in my opinion because of the versatility of the piece as well as the quality. It is something I would call an heirloom piece, something you can pass down or around, share it with your sisters or friends or daughters or anyone really! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the colors either, they are all classic yet unique, and the garment dying makes each of them a piece of art.
