Around the Block | 5.26.21 | Pt. 2
Anaak is a wonderful designer for warm weather. With resort running through its DNA, its pieces are just as home on the city streets as it is on the beach or on the lake. Whereever you go, you will be chic and comfortable; just ask Alyssa! We love how the full bouquet looks with the more subdued outfit. It helps the flowers stand out while at the same time emphasizing the effortlessly chic look of it all. Not to mention the amazing building, also steps down the street from the shop. It really looks like something from Soho NYC, but nope, it's tucked down a little side street in Old City Philadelphia.

Around the Block | 5.26.21 | Pt. 1
What says spring like Peonies. These flowers were so bright and vibrant we knew they needed a strong piece to play off; queue the Ilsa dress here! Made of the most beautiful light silk, this piece floats around the body, and the color is incredible. It is sometimes gold, sometimes brown, sometimes green, this is something that happens with a lot of the designer's pieces, and we absolutely love it! This little side road is steps from the shop, and we love how many personalities it has! Add some cute gold sunnies are you are set to go skipping down the cobblestone road.

So this around the block is more like, across the street. When the weather allows, we love sneaking out at the end of a photoshoot to get some outdoor shots. They are always so fun, and we love the dappled light and beautiful stone wall across the street. Fortunately, mother nature was on our side with extra good lighting and a breeze that added to the lovely dreamy nature of the mini shoot.

Happy New Year!!!
We are slowly getting back into the swing of things around here. This year we are going to try and take some more fun pictures of the clothes around the neighborhood and styling them in fun ways! We hope this is a new project that can get the creative juices flowing! Covid isolation and the early winter nights are quite a hard combination so any bit of joy we can find we will take! Please see our first batch of pictures. They are some of our favorite pieces.
The yellow pieces are from our lovely designer, Runaway Bicycle and their fabric is handwoven and is so light and flowy, we simply had to layer it up and run around Old City.
The new piece is from Maku, we had a couple of these dresses earlier in the season but sold out quickly then there was some FOMO around the shop so we added more! We got the dark indigo we had before and got some great dresses in the amazing light indigo. In addition, we have some other favorites back in stock, please check them out.
We really do love everything we have received this year and hope you do too!
