Friday Favorites | OOTD | 10.22.21

Welcome to our first OOTD! That means "Outfit of the Day". We were taking photos of some amazing new shoes (see yesterday's post) and decided to document our transitional looks for the cooling season.

Julia is wearing an assortment of things that are actually not from the shop, which includes a Studio Nicholson Sweater, Pants from The Row, and Guidi loafers.

Elyse is wearing an assortment of things from and not from the shop, which includes an Album di Famiglia Velvet Dress, Izipizi Glasses, Eileen Fisher Boots, and a Sylvain le Hen Epingle.

Friday Favorites | Summer Dresses | 6.11.21

When it is warm out, all I want to wear are flowy dresses that float around the body. I find that sleeves don't matter so much when a dress is light and easy to wear, even when it is really hot out. If you couldn't guess, it has been quite warm in Philadelphia recently so warm (hot) weather clothing has been on my mind. What are your favorite things to wear on warm days?

Friday Favorites | 3.26.21

We have had so many incredible pieces come through the shop doors this season! It's hard to pick a favorite. I am going to include some of my favorites below, but really, everything is my favorite. This is just a small selection. I really can't wait for spring/summer dress season, and these would be perfect!

Friday Favorites 8.7.20

Oh My Runaway Bicycle.
This amazing brand out of Mumbai is one of our favorites. They have the best textiles and whimsical approach to everything they do. This week we are picking out favorites of the bunch! Though, yes, it is hard to pick favorites.

These are Elyses-
I am a huge textile nerd, I majored in it anyway and the fabrics are flawless. They are handwoven which means they are full of little goodies that show the hand of the maker. I also love the hand-painted stripe below. I may or may not have walked away with one of these!

Julias-

I know this dress is already gone, but I wanted to talk to you about how amazing this silk is!  I think the floral pattern is digitally printed on a soft thick modal silk - I'm not quite sure what you'd call the weave, but it has a such a nice drape.  And I have never seen a print quite like it!

Is it a PJ set? Is it an outfit? Can it be both? I don't know about you, but I find myself kind of combining the two lately. What with all the time I'm spending at home, comfort is key, and I find myself wearing things like this all the time.

Friday Favorites 7.3.20

We are having a sale on sale this week! Use the code "peaches" to take an additional 15% off sale!
Yay!
So we are going to pick out our favorite sale pieces.

Elyse's Friday Favorites-

I LOVE this Renli Su dress. I have since it came into the shop and it still gives me heart eyes 😍 when I see it. I love the structured sleeve which is a statement but not to big a statement and the cut and basically, everything, did I mention it has pockets? You can't beat this dress.

I also adore this dress from Anaak. It is the perfect piece to throw on and get on with your day. It comes with a slip but can also be worn as a cover-up or pair it with bike shorts and a bra top and you have a super cool look! The possibilities are endless and the navy color is perfect!

Julia's favorites!

I own this shirt and love it!  We often puzzle at some of the things that are so amazing yet somehow make it to the sale section, and this is one of them.  The silk is so nice and soft and has a subtle nap to it and drapes beautifully and pairs great with so many things.  I happen to have a pair of navy silk pants and I love pairing it with them, but it would also look great with a skirt too!

Many a time I have considered taking this jacket home, the velvet is just so nice - not too thick and not too thin, and the lining is a thin cream on cream ticking stripe.  I usually take a small in Casey, but I feel like I could also easily wear the medium or large in this piece for a slightly over sized look - and honestly, in cooler weather I prefer this because then there is more room for SWEATERS! :-)

Friday Favorites 6.30.20

Pardon the tardy posting, we are still not back in the office Fridays so it takes a while to work it out.

Elyse's Favorites-

I am not a blazer person, I think I have owned one in my life and have probably only worn it once. I love blazers, I have just never found one that seemed to fit my style or something I would ever go to. I thought this was simply a nice blazer before I tried it on. Once it was on the fit was so great and the fabric so lush, a blazer I could see myself wearing. A simple navy blazer, maybe, a wonderfully tailored classic piece, for sure!

I also totally love the dress, another piece I did not think much about but wearing it but it just felt perfect on.

Julia's Favorites-

I love the details on this Atelier Baba Mitzah coat.  It's hand dyed in indigo, and it features two layer of buttons - what ever does that mean?  It means that it's a two part placket closure, this way if you just button the inner part, it makes it look like you also have a vest on!  Sweet!  The handwoven fabric given accents well with the indigo, creating a variegated texture throughout.

I am also happy to announce that my favorite bensimon tennis shoes are back in the shop - they are definitely, without a doubt, a favorite!! :).

Friday Favorites

Elyse's Friday Favorites.

I love this dress by veritecoeur! It is bold and bright and fun and such an easy piece to just throw on. There was a lot of amazing stuff that came in so we are each picking a garment and a pair of socks. We have been so excited to get these socks in the shop and they are finally here and they do truly brighten our day!

Julia's Favorite:

Surprise surprise!  Julia is back loving checks again, and lately I can't get enough blue/black checks or blue/navy checks.  This set is so sweet and the fabric is so nice, the skirt can be worn two ways too!  And of course I needed to pick a pair of socks too! :)  The carbon stripe with the lilac toe!  I just can't!
