For the last week I have been making Jesse watch Anne of Green Gables with me. I was obsessed with these movies when I was little, and saw them all of the time. In re-watching them, I realize they are as good as I remembered, which is unusual for something you like when you are a kid. I have laughed at them a lot more this time around though, because some of the things that Anne says are just ridiculous, like "My life is a perfect graveyard of buried hopes!". At least I thought is was pretty entertaining. Now I want to braid my hair and wear straw hats. The books and movies have always made me want to visit Prince Edward Island, what a beautiful countryside. I think I'd like to live in a place like that someday, living in the city makes me miss the country very much.
