wheatfields

This is the second time that my Dad has over-nighted me a molasses cookie. The first time was about a month ago from Woodstar in Northampton, MA. This time he sent me one over Christmas from a bakery in Lawrence, KS. (Where my folks were for X-mas - I didn't join them this year - though I heard I missed a good ugly christmas sweater party, a concept that is new to me!).

Dad and I have a thing about molasses cookies - we are constantly in search of the perfect one.

That is far too cute. I am guessing that LYTB means 'love you to bits'. He's a keeper!

That is awesome. Both the cookie & your dad. My mom and I have a thing with cookies too... not a particular cookie, just all cookies, haha.
