rennes summer lookbook

So happy to put out a look book for this summer!  I had been wanting to do something special to celebrate the first production run of the duffles and a few other bags, and am very happy with how it all came together.  I had had my eye on this street/location near where Jesse works for a while because I love all the pastel colored walls.   Thank you so much to my friend Rebecca for modeling and helping me out with this shoot - it was so much fun!!  Oh yeah, and I should probably mention, the bags are in the shop now!!  Hooray!  I'll have the pink and yellow large pouch in the shop as well later this after noon, along with a few new colors of the meeting dress, and the Delft Smock Top.  Happy Monday!

Julia, is that the regular size Gretel? I am now torn between the natural color and the tobacco... they both look so beautiful! Maybe that's the power of the lookbook :-o

Great series of shots! You've done an amazing job of mixing neutrals with pops of color

I forgot to ask, where are those black pants from, and would you consider making linen culottes?

thank so much everyone! I really appreciate your kind words!! where would I be without all your awesome support?!

underdoggy : they are from urban outfitters.....eek, i know! but i wanted to get a shoe i could have in a few colors for the shoot :)

amanda: yes, that is the regular sized gretel tote. the natural gets a lot darker over time, it's hard to choose between the two colors!

erica - i made the pants for the shoot. i mean for them to be a little longer but forgot to add hem allowance, whoops! once i get the pattern better i'll think about putting them for sale, the crotch is a little funny right now and needs some kinks worked out. i love colottes! i used to wear them all the time when i was a kid.

I missed the bandwagon on those black crane culottes, so of course now I'm obsessed.
I see what you mean about the pants, but I love the direction you're headed with them
